WHO warns about reopening too quickly amid COVID-19 pandemic || Dr. Tedros Adhanom

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) ने कहा है कि जिन देशों में कोरोना वायरस के एक्टिव केस अधिक हैं वहां ऐसे इवेंट आयोजित नहीं करने चाहिए जिनसे तेजी से संक्रमण फैलने का खतरा हो. सोमवार को WHO ने यह भी कहा कि बिना वायरस पर काबू किए इकोनॉमी-सोसायटी खोलने का मतलब त्रासदी को आमंत्रण देना है.
WHO के डायरेक्टर जनरल टेड्रोस एडहैनम घेब्रियेसुस ने यह माना कि काफी लोग पाबंदियों से थक चुके हैं और 8 महीने बाद वापस सामान्य हालात में लौटना चाहते हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि WHO इकोनॉमी और सोसायटी को फिर से खोलने का पूरी तरह समर्थन करता है. हम चाहते हैं कि बच्चे स्कूल जाएं और लोग अपने दफ्तर, लेकिन हम चाहते हैं कि यह सुरक्षित तरीके से हो.
WHO ने एक बार फिर चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि कोई भी देश सीधे यह नहीं कह सकता कि अब महामारी खत्म हो गई है. सच्चाई ये है कि यह वायरस आसानी से फैलता है. बिना वायरस पर काबू किए इकोनॉमी और सोसायटी खोलने से त्रासदी की स्थिति पैदा हो सकती है.
