Entertainment Center in a Farmhouse Style Side Table
Description
Today we build a Entertainment Center in a Farmhouse Style Side Table to hide all our media center equipment in a farmhouse style that perfectly matches the side tables we built a few weeks ago. This entertainment center is built from a combination of 1/4" and 1/2" plywood and solid poplar wood assembled with wood glue and Kreg Pockets screws.

We don't have a TV in our house and use a PC and Projector combination to watch movies, which is a little bit complicated to setup in a manner that is not a complete mess in the living room. We made a custom projector media cabinet a few years ago for our old house but it completely did not fit in our new house, especially after we transformed our new living room and built new side tables. This project was an attempt to build a new entertainment center that matches the farmhouse style side tables we built a few weeks ago. Obviously we would enclose the cabinets to hide the equipment but we wanted the look, drawers and top to be the same. Ran into a few issue while I was building the media console but how you fix the issues that arise while woodworking is what sets the men apart from the boys!
No plans for this build but if you want the side table plans (very similar) you can find them here:
