JUNE 2020

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this time of Global Disaster due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Stay safe & take care!

SOURDOUGH RECIPE:
3 Cups white bread flour (stone ground, organic, or normal )
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon yeast
1 & 3/4 cup lukewarm water

mix ingredients together ( the dough rises - so large bowl for enough space) and set aside to ferment for 18-20 hours.

next day.. scrape mixture out onto floured surface, pat into rectangle, fold ends together, then the sides, turn over and tuck/shape into a ball. Dust with flour - lay tea towel over and let rest for 2 hours.

30min before baking turn oven onto highest temp - place cast iron pot into oven to pre-heat (30min)

carefully place bread into your hot pot, score the top of the loaf, and bake for 25 minutes, remove lid and bake for further 10-15min (until top is crisp and golden )

..oh ja, I doubled the above recipe and made 2 loaves in this vlog. - (just incase someone assumes it's the one dough split in two. it's not.)
