At South Korea's National Assembly representatives of the ruling party, government and presidential office are holding a meeting on the nation's countermeasures to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The participants are likely to discuss the supply of face masks for people in South Korea as well as the roughly 10-billion dollar supplementary budget bill that's still awaiting the assembly's approval as well as military support measures and dealing with the volatile stock market.
At this morning's meeting: Former prime minister Lee Nak-yon, now head of the ruling party's COVID-19 response panel, defense minister Jeong Kyung-doo,… Financial Services Commission Chair Eun Sung-soo and the presidential policy chief Kim Sang-jo among others.
