In todays training vlog I showcase a couple of training sessions to build top end power, which complimented some of the zone 2 endurance work to build my base fitness.

Starting with a 25:35 training at Regent's Park comprising 25sec at 135% FTP and 35sec at 65% FTP repeated 12x (for a total of x2 blocks of 12mins). Perfect for racking up time and confidence at big power!

Then back indoors it's time to address a weakness of mine - sprinting! On the deck was a challenging but exhilarating training comprising 4x30sec sprints at 200%+ of FTP (with 3.5mins recovery between each sprint). Repeated twice for 8 sprints in total! TSS to the max!

I continued to rack up time in zone 2 on the rollers and also outside in order to build base fitness ahead of the events in the Spring and Summer.
